European Directives
Within Europe, many of the national legislative texts have been harmonised by European Union legislation and are subject to uniform objectives through homogenous EU legislation. Legislation can be directly and bindingly valid throughout the European Union by means of regulations. Or the member states must transpose the objectives of a European directive into national law. This results in a complex and sometimes confusing network of national and international legal regulations.
These regulations cover a wide range of sectors and areas: From chemicals (Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006; REACH Regulation), toys (Toy Directive 2009/48/EC), up to food contact materials (Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004).
EuDiCo helps you to identify the legal regulations relevant to you and supports you as a competent partner in complying with national and European conformity requirements. EuDiCo also assists you as a partner in the assessment of non-conforming products or in the event of problems with market surveillance. We prepare toxicological reports for you and provide you with a legal assessment of your product, which serves as a basis for further official handling.
