Toy Safety

The new Toy Directive 2009/48/EC entered into force on 20 July 2009. The requirements of this directive have been in force since 20 July 2011, and the chemical requirements for toys will be binding from 20 July 2013, although in some cases stricter limits than those laid down by the EU will apply in Germany.

EuDiCo GmbH advises you competently, quickly and reliably on all aspects of toy safety. We can refer to many years of cooperation in international committees and are represented, for example, in the European standardization committee for the chemical safety of toys and in DIN.

EuDiCo offers on request training courses on regulatory aspects of non-food products as well as in the field of quality assurance of toys. EuDiCo GmbH has already frequently appeared in the past with teaching activities at advanced training seminars of the German Toy Association DVSI, the TIE and the TÜV Rheinland.

EuDiCo assists you in the preparation and implementation of a test plan so that your toy complies with national and international legal requirements with regard to its chemical, physical and mechanical properties.

EuDiCo is your partner for the assessment of non-conforming products or for problems with market surveillance. We prepare toxicological reports and provide you with a legal assessment of your product, which serves as a basis for further official handling.
